Medigap Plan M

Medigap Plan M is a Medicare Supplement plan that will provide you coverage for some of the out-of-pocket costs you have to pay while enrolled in Original Medicare.

What Does Plan M Cover?

While Plan M isn’t the most comprehensive Medicare Supplement plan, it still provides a good amount of coverage. The benefits that are covered 100% include:

Medicare Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
Medicare Part A hospice care coinsurance and copayment
Medicare Part B coinsurance and hospital costs
First three pints of blood for transfusions
Skilled nursing care facility coinsurance

Plan M will also cover up to 80% of foreign travel emergency care and 50% of the Medicare Part A deductible.

What Does Plan M Not Cover?

Although Plan M covers the majority of out-of-pocket costs, it will not cover Part B excess charges or the Part B deductible.
